We are incredibly excited to announce that our production of ‘Mamma Mia’ which was to have opened in March 2020, will now be performed in January 2021, but in order to accommodate all those who hold tickets and to adhere to rules regarding social distancing, the production will now be staged at the MONCRIEFF THEATRE.


The new performance dates are:


 • Friday January 22 – 7:30pm

 • Saturday January 23 – 2:00pm

 • Saturday January 23 – 7:30pm

 • Thursday January 28 – 7:30pm

 • Friday January 29 – 7:30pm

 • Saturday January 30 – 7:30pm


All patrons with tickets booked for the original performance dates will automatically be provided with tickets for the new dates, but we now need to re-allocate seats from the original 12 performances at the Playhouse into 6 performances at the Moncrieff. To preserve seating priorities, we are endeavouring to allocate new seating (u)in the order that tickets were originally booked with the Playhouse, whereby the first booking would be the first to be re-allocated and the last booking taken would be the last to be reallocated.

But The New Dates Don’t Suit?

Please use that link to let us know – you may request a refund, or tell us if you would prefer that we retain the ticket price as a donation.


But I Made a Large Group Booking?

Your booking can be split for the purposes of rescheduling, and requests via the link made by patrons taking responsibility for their ‘subgroup’ within your entire booking.


If we have not received details for the whole of your booking however, we will be in touch with you for further information.


When Will I Get My New Tickets?

The actual allocation of seats will only take place in early January to ensure we remain compliant with the current COVID-19 government regulations.  We understand that patrons will receive their new ticketing details at this time.


But I Don’t Have a Computer?

If you are not able to provide the requested information electronically, please contact us at the Playhouse in person or by phone during Box Office hours (Sundays 9am to 12noon), and one of our volunteer staff will assist you.


What Information Will I Need To Provide?

We will request the following information –


  • Contact Name
  • Contact Address
  • Contact Phone Number
  • Contact Email Address
  • Booking Confirmation Number(eg CF#123456789 - you will find this on your ticket or booking confirmation
  • Original Performance Date
  • Original Seats (ie C6 & 7)
  • New Dates – Options (2 please, if possible)
  • Seating Requirement (ie no stairs, wheelchair)
  • Names of all Subscribers (if applicable)


Please spread the word, particularly to your fellow patrons who may not have email or computer access.  We would appreciate receiving the above details by Monday 14 December 2020, so the re-allocation process may begin as soon as possible
