About Youth Theatre

Youth Theatre Membership is open to persons aged between 10 and 18 years.  Youth Theatre Membership entitles the student to participate in workshops held by the Bundaberg Players Incorporated exclusively.  This membership does not cover any other membership rights.

Driven by an evident need for exciting practical theatre experience in Bundaberg, the Bundaberg Players Incorporated is continuing to offer workshops for our young people (aged 10 – 18 years) interested in theatre – onstage and off!.

Our Commitment

The Bundaberg Players Incorporated is committed to providing a love for drama among the local youth.  It is theatre policy for all adult members working with Youth Theatre Members in a leadership/directing roll to hold a current Blue Card issued by the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian.

We pride ourselves on providing a safe place where young people can enjoy theatre production and performance. The Bundaberg Players Incorporated holds Public Liability Insurance however if a member suffers injury in circumstances in which no negligence of the theatre itself exists, the member will have no legal claim against the theatre and must bear the loss personally. We wish to advise that our insurance provider does not provide Personal Accident Insurance cover for members under the age of 16 years.

As a volunteer organisation we endeavour to offer membership to all those who wish to join but are always mindful of the number of young people we can safely cater for at the Playhouse Theatre.  With safety in mind.
