Acknowledgement of Country
We acknowledge that the land that we gather and perform on is the traditional country and homelands of the Taribelang Bunda, Gooreng Gooreng, Gurang, and Bailai Peoples of the Bundaberg region. We acknowledge they have walked, cared for, sung, told stories and danced on this land for thousands of years. We acknowledge and respect their spiritual relationship, cultural heritage, beliefs and connection to this land, and it is still important to their descendants of today. We acknowledge the Elders, those here today and those who have passed back into the great dreaming.

| Revue 500 is a celebration of Bundaberg Players Incorporated’s 500th stage production. The Bundaberg Amateur Players (later renamed BPI) was founded in 1950, and performed our first production, ‘Miss Hook of Holland’, in 1951 at Bundaberg’s old Wintergarden Theatre. 74 years and 500 productions later, BPI is one of the oldest regional theatre companies in Queensland, presenting an average of seven unparalleled high-quality productions each year. Many have joined us to celebrate some of the amazing shows that led us to this incredible milestone.
