of Country

We acknowledge that the land that we gather and perform on is the traditional country and homelands of the Taribelang Bunda, Gooreng Gooreng, Gurang, and Bailai Peoples of the Bundaberg region.

We acknowledge they have walked, cared for, sung, told stories and danced on this land for thousands of years. We acknowledge and respect their spiritual relationship, cultural heritage, beliefs and connection to this land, and it is still important to their descendants of today.

We caught up with Jenn Ritchie who plays 'Eponine'

Favourite part of the show?

- 'Master of the House' - Every time I watch it in rehearsals I see something new and hilarious!

Favourite show you've done?

- This one! First in Bundaberg and first lead role. 'Les Mis' is in my top 5 shows of all time.

Best show memory?

- All the laughs between all the hard work with this amazing cast and crew! Especially all the sharing of 'Les Mis' memes! The friends I have made that I hope last a lifetime.

If you could play any other character, who would it be?

- In 'Les Mis', definitely 'Javert'!! I think he is a fabulously strong character! Also love how he repeats his name just in case you forget it! But out of any show, 'Calamity Jane'.

What do you hope people walk away thinking after the show?

- That spark of excitement and joy that I felt and still feel every time I hear this musical. It is very special to me and I hope you all feel the same way after the show!

Also, hopefully a sense of pride for Bundaberg’s local Cast, Crew and Orchestra!
